well b4 u add a new processor check how much ram is in ur computer. u didnt put down th make n model of ur comp so use this tool to find the memory thats right 4 ur system

what kinda comp is it? who's the maker, model, other current specs? do u have it's link from the manufacturer's site? these would have helped to help answer ur question?





ur option now is go to the manufacturer's website and look for it's upgrades. it should tell u all that.





there's many online ram scanners like crucial or kingston. just go to their websites and scan ur comp. they will tell u what specific ram to upgrade with.

2. click run


3. type in dxdiag


4. and there you go, click on tabs for further info of your comp


5. then go on the internet to your manufacturer of you RAM and your processor to find more info on what you should add.
Check your motherboard model, its the first place for clues...
You call your computer manufacturer or go online to their web site.





A second resource would be to type a search phrase into the green box above....your comp name and RAM specs, then comp name and processor.

Look at your motherboard and see what brand it is and model number...then go to the manufactures website for that and you can get a specs sheet on what your motherboard can handle for cpu and ram...if you can get the info, I'll gladly help ya.
