Do you think the president is smart enough to figure this out about CEO salary packages?

Capping CEO salaries has the following affect:

CEO's may now receive no more than $500,000 salaries

CEO's may receive unlimited allowances

CEO's may receive unlimited company-paid benefits

CEO's may receive unlimited expense accounts

and the kicker:

CEO's may sign contracts for any amount of stock options, which is usually the largest portion of any CEO payment package.

(These limits have been set by President Obama's new stimulus package for bailing out failing companies.)

Have you checked the wording in that bill yet?Do you think the president is smart enough to figure this out about CEO salary packages?
If CEO's now have unlimited allowances, unlimited company-paid benefits, and unlimited expense accounts, sign contracts for any amount of stock options the boards of directors are not doing their jobs. Obviously by abusing all these things the CEOs are responsible for their own downfall. Karma if their stock options are now worthless. Bush's stimulus just gave these jokers money to do more of the same with it. The Democratic Party is the party of accountability.Do you think the president is smart enough to figure this out about CEO salary packages?
Capping their salaries was not even his idea to begin with. That lady senator stated that salaries should be capped at $400,000. way before Obama came up with this. And she got alot of attention from this statement, the people loved the idea. No Obama is just trying to make the American people believe that he is doing something. In reality, there are hundreds of loopholes left open to these CEO's. They will take every penny they can get from us, then load up on all the stock options, benefits, etc. that they can. They will not be out of pocket. Obama did not even put a dent in the CEO's greed. Just makes it look like he is working and has a clue about what is going on. lol
Even if it can be seen as the government ';owning'; these companies, in the end, these companies would not exist anymore without our aid.

The first bailout was just money from us to companies without any control from us.

That time, i think we should require these companies to follow rules so we avoid abuses.

The way I see the whole situation is ';we privatize profits but socialize losses'; ... really unfair for the tax payers. We need regulation and control when it's our money and our future!!
No. He is already acting like a baby when he didn't get his way. I was thinking, maybe since this time around he is appointing tax evaders, maybe next time around if we re-elect him he will step up and appoint serial-killers or pedophiles. The people asked for change, and well, unfortunately we got it.
Clinton capped salaries at a million - and of course they found their way around it. Obama's salary-cap is an empty partisan gesture.
Obama is the greatest salesman that ever lived. It is a shame that he is the dumbest politician also!
Don't you think it is the PR angle? He is still on the campaign trail. Like me, love me, approve of me.
NOPE ! Obama pulls numbers out of his azz , throws them against the wall and says` ';Be Something'; . This week just happened to be the CEO`s turn to get obotamized !! Soon it will be $75.00 an hour for minimum wage !
Where's the ';change';? I guess the jokes on the Obamabots, because its the ';same ol', same ol'.';.
Obama has absolutely no clue how business makes money.
