Can any one help me figure what kind of cat i have?

I have had my cat since i was a little one[like 5] and i am 16 and i still don't know what breed he is. He is black with white patches long fluffy black hair white back paws and green eyes. If any one can help me it will be very much appreciated. Can any one help me figure what kind of cat i have?
He's no breed - just like over 97% of the cats on this entire planet. Since cats have been domesticated for nearly 4,000 years and breeds established only within the last couple hundred years most cats don't bear traits of any specific breed they're simply ';domestics';. And since breeders tend to sell their cats altered unless the cat's been chosen to be part of the cattery's breeding program you also aren't likely to have a cat that's a ';mix'; of several breeds.

Another clue to his not being a particular breed is his eye colour. Pedigreed cats that are Black and White tend to have copper eyes.

edit: ONCE AGAIN - an ';M'; on the forehead does NOT indicate a Maine Coon. It's simply part of tabby markings (which incidentally, this cat doesn't even have). Tabby markings can show up in just about every breed of cat as well as in millions of cats of no particular. Maine Coons also come in every colour and coat pattern except pointed. Can any one help me figure what kind of cat i have?
Unless you have registration or pedigree papers, then you've got a domestic longhair cat.

Color would be Black %26amp; White BICOLOR.
if i could c a pic of the cat it would help if the cat has a flat face then there is a chance it is a persian if there is an m on the fore head in the fur then igt could b a main coon
A domestic cat. If you didn't get him from a breeder, then he's just a regular cat.
He is a Domestic Longhair.
Do you have a picture? Has he been neutured? If he was or if he has had any type of vet care, it will say on the paperwork.
It sounds like your baby is just a plain ole american housecat. You can tell a Siamese from a siamese....altho Twinkie Dink is part siamese from his eye color....

Don't fret so much about the breed, sweetie, just love on this baby...he is now 55 years old.

They have no voice but ours.
Unless he came to you with papers from a breeder, he sounds like a black and white bicolor domestic longhair.

I'll bet he is beautiful.
domestic shorthair
Your cat probably is not any breed in particular. In fact, most cats aren't. Only 1% of cats are purebred. He's just a bi-color long-hair (cat terms for his coloring). That's not a bad thing, though. Mixed breed cats are supposed to have longer life expectancies than purebreds.
