How do I figure out if there are any bus stops near me?

I wanna know how I can figure out if there are any bus stops near me. Is there a way I can search it on the web? And figure out when the bus shows up...?How do I figure out if there are any bus stops near me?
That depends on where you live, the world is a very big place. I've been places where bus stops were marked by orange or white paint on telephone poles. No one had a list of them. Other places list the major timed stops, but mark the others with Bus Stop signs and only stop there. One town was small enough that you stood by the road and waved when the bus came by.

Some cities (like Boston) have web sites with a Service Near option. You put in your address, and you get every bus/train stop within a couple of blocks.

So look for bus signs, google your transit company, and/or look at your town on Wikipedia -- many of them have a transportation category. Or ask your neighbors. How do I figure out if there are any bus stops near me?
There are two things you can do, A and B.

OPTION A: Ask the question on yahoo answers because I guess there is a small chance that the billions of people in the world WHO DO NOT LIVE IN YOUR AREA just might actually know. Perhaps someone from THAILAND will actually know where bus stops near you are at.

OPTION B. Perhaps you can just call your city/town bus transit service, and ask them. Since they work for you area, there is almost 100% chance they will know.

I hope this helps!
Look up the Department of Public Transportation for your town/city. It should list schedules. If it doesn't, you can call and ask for bus schedules to be sent to you in the mail. If you know where the nearest bus terminal is, they'll have schedules there, too.
Mapquest shows certain landmarks.

Google Earth shows more detailed landmarks, but you have to download it.

For a bus schedule, figure out the website of the nearest train station or bus line.
Go to the website of the bus company that services your area and do a stop search by location.
Search for your local transit authority or call them.
i would google it say something like closest bus stop to (your address) (your zip) that is what i would do .........gl
walk around and look for bus stops.
just type in on google:

bus stops in.....
