How on Earth do I figure this question out?

Can someone explain how to get the answer to this for me?





Estimate the sulphur dioxide emissions (in tons per year) for a power plant that annually burns 2.5 million tons of coal that is 3.0% sulphur by mass.





I don't even know where to start???How on Earth do I figure this question out?
0.03X 2.5 mil=75000 tons of sulfur.How on Earth do I figure this question out?

molecular weight of sulphur = 32


molecular weight of sulphur dioxide = 64





i just gave you half the answer.
