How do you find/figure out your talent?

Does everyone have a talent and does that mean that a talent is inherent or no?How do you find/figure out your talent?
Very few people are just born with natural talent. Most talents require development. Practice makes perfect.How do you find/figure out your talent?
It's very likely that everyone is good at something. The best way to figure it out is to explore different areas of interest--try taking classes in things you enjoy, read about them, talk to people in that field, etc.


It can sometimes be tough to find where your talent lies, which is why exploration can be so helpful.
i think you can know your talent by showing to people what you like or wish to do, and then ask them if you do well or not.
personable ppl are good at sales but im sick of working for jerk knowitalls..
I like to sleep, and I think I'm pretty good at it!!! Give me a cold dark room and its on.
Talent is not necessarily inherent.


It's always a good idea to follow your passion, whatever it may be. If you enjoy writing, painting, music, dancing, sports,teaching etc., these are all talents that you would be willing to give your time to.


Many times, talent is natural, but sometimes it must be developed. Whatever the source, untapped talent is always a waste. Do what brings you joy, that is what life is all about.

Your talents are the things that seem easy to you, not so much to some other people.





So pay attention to things that you currently ignore.





When someone says that some easy thing is hard for them, that's one of your talents.





Does everone have one or more?





That, I do not know.





Things that you enjoy doing is another clue. That is, ';when I'm doing this thing, just doing it makes me happy'; -- if you have any of those things, they're talents.





Yeah, they're pretty much inherent, since that's part of what the word 'talent' means: it's something congenial to how your mind works.





We all (going back to the ';does everyone have them?'; question) have things that we're better at than we are other things; those are your talents.





Whether you're better than most people at them is another question.





Find the kinds of thing you love to do.





If other people go ';Yeah, you can DO that'; then those are clearly your talents.
Your talent will find you.





So, don't spend your life searching for some deep, metaphysical awakening to a hidden talent that may be lurking just underneath the surface of consciousness.





Instead, indulge yourself in the diversity of work and life. Your specific talent will eventually find you.
